GOOD TO KNOW
Questions we hear most
Yes — we're fully licensed and insured (Licence No. 32786). Every job is carried out by a licensed plumber to Australian Standards and Building and Plumbing Commission requirements, and we provide a Certificate of Compliance where one is required. It means the work is safe, legal and properly documented.
Yes. Burst pipes, blocked drains, gas leaks and hot water failures don't keep business hours, so we're on call 24/7 for genuine emergencies across Melbourne's east. If you ever smell gas, leave the property first, then call us on (03) 9877 5775.
For urgent jobs, we aim to be there the same day, and often within a couple of hours for emergencies. When you book, we'll give you a realistic arrival time and send a courtesy text before we're on the way, so you're not left waiting around.
We give you a clear, upfront price before any work starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice. You'll know what the job costs when you approve it, not after. For larger jobs, we provide a fixed written quote that stays valid for 30 days.
Yes. We back our workmanship with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and all work meets Australian Standards. Where a job requires it, you'll receive a Certificate of Compliance. If something isn't right, we'll come back and put it right — that's how we've kept customers for nearly 40 years.
Yes. We look after residential and commercial properties — from a leaking tap at home to drains, hot water, gas and compliance work for shops, offices, cafes and body corporates. For businesses, we work around your trading hours to keep disruption to a minimum. See our commercial plumbing page.
We'll confirm the accepted payment methods when you book. Payment is on completion for residential jobs; builders and small businesses are on 7-day terms, and body corporates, rental properties and schools on 14 days. We'll always make the terms clear before we start.
We're based in Burwood and service Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs — from Camberwell and Box Hill to Doncaster and Glen Waverley. Each suburb we cover has its own local page, and the full list is on our Areas We Serve page. Not sure if you're in range? Give us a call. See our Areas We Serve page.
We cover the lot: blocked drains, hot water systems, burst pipes and leak detection, gas fitting, roof plumbing and gutters, general repairs and renovations, commercial plumbing, and sewer and stormwater capping. If it involves water, gas or drainage, we can help — the questions below cover the common ones. See our plumbing services page.
Yes — it's one of our most common jobs. We use CCTV cameras to find the exact cause (often tree roots in older clay pipes) and high-pressure water jetting to clear it, then advise whether the pipe needs relining or a repair to stop the blockage returning. See our blocked drains page.
Yes. We repair and replace all major brands — gas, electric, solar, heat pump and continuous-flow. If your unit has failed, we can usually diagnose it on site and, where needed, supply and install a replacement the same day, so you're not stuck without hot water for long. See our hot water systems page.
Yes. Our licensed gasfitters handle appliance installation, gas lines, leak detection, repairs and safety checks. Gas is dangerous to get wrong, so it must always be done by a licensed professional. If you ever smell gas, leave the property and call us straight away. See our gas plumbing page.
Yes. Carbon monoxide is odourless and can leak from faulty gas heaters and appliances, so we provide carbon monoxide testing and gas safety checks to help keep your family safe. It's a quick job well worth doing for any home with older gas heating.
Yes. We respond fast to burst pipes to limit water damage, and we use leak detection to trace hidden leaks behind walls or under floors — the kind that quietly drive up water bills. We find the source and repair it properly rather than patching over the symptom. See our burst pipes & leak detection page.
Yes. We repair roof leaks, replace gutters and downpipes, and sort out stormwater drainage — especially after Melbourne's heavy rain. Catching roof and gutter problems early protects your ceilings, walls and foundations from water damage. See our roof plumbing page.
Yes. We handle the plumbing side of bathroom, kitchen and laundry renovations — rough-in, fixtures, taps and connecting everything to standard. We work in with your builder's schedule and make sure each stage passes inspection, so your renovation stays on track. See our general plumbing page.
Yes. Before a building is demolished, its sewer and stormwater connections must be capped or permanently disconnected (abolished) by a licensed plumber. We do this to your water authority's standard and provide the compliance paperwork your demolisher or building surveyor needs. See our sewer & stormwater capping page.
