Sewer plumbing in Bayswater
We had one of our customers report a blocked sewer pipe, which was located in the back of their commercial property in Bayswater. Overflowing sewer water had created a messy situation!
A detailed assessment of the area and drainage system found the sewer overflowing was occurring through the IS shaft.
We deployed the sewer machine with a 3″ cutter, with 2 lengths laid out to the ORG connection point. This cleared the drain partially, so a larger 4″ set of cutters needed to be used to ensure the blockage was fully cleared.
Cables were run from upstream to downstream to ensure the sewer connection was clear of any obstruction. As a final step, a water and paper test was performed. Everything was back to working as it should.
