Blocked gutter – Doncaster East
We were recently called in to a property at Doncaster East, as the owner had noticed overflowing gutters at rear of their residence during heavy rain. This could be attributed to blocked gutters and downpipes.
Our roof plumbing professional attended the scene promptly. The leak was located along the joints of the downpipe, which was completely blocked with soil and roots.
We removed the downpipe and managed to clear its elbow areas of the organic debris. The downspout was reinstated, and water flow was back to normal.
Gutter maintenance – Mount Waverly
We assisted our customers at a local school in Mount Waverley with multiple roof gutter maintenance works.
Our roof plumbing team first tackled several downpipe repairs across the property, which had developed signs of damage and rust resulting in water leaks.
Shoe connections in the downpipes were replaced to make them watertight and sections of pop-in spouts and cracked downpipe positions were adjusted.
Further assessment revealed a blocked box guttering, which led to overflow of rainwater. These box gutters were also cleared of obstacles to prevent any future plumbing problems when it rains.
