Great experience – notified me when they were coming and knew exactly how to fix a difficult problem in lightning time.

Came same day as I called to fix broken tap that couldn’t be turned off (had to turn water off at mains to stop flooding). Third time I’ve used them within 12 months for different issues. Very helpful, professional staff and reasonable pricing. Highly recommended.

Top quality new zincalume roof and guttering. Brian and the team worked efficiently from the outset, and were trustworthy, with honest rates. They took all the old roof materials away and did not shy away of removing invasive weeds to get access. Administration and communication was very responsive, with James keeping me informed at all times. I recommend Doherty to anyone seeking a quality and honest roof plumber or new roof and will contact them again for any other plumbing work.

Doherty’s installed a tap in our warehouse. It was a particularly fiddly job and they delivered on time at a competitive price. Their staff were polite, professional and helpful.

Very happy with service I have received!! Problem wasn’t easy to find ( leaking pipe somewhere under the house ) but I was surprised how fast Tim find the problem!!! Nothing was too much trouble for him!!! If in trouble or for any plumbing work I will use Doherty Plumbing again for sure!

Absolute pleasure to deal with. They installed our new toilets with care. They removed and disposed of the old as well as leaving the bathrooms clean. They also returned a few days later to check their work and if we were happy with them. Very happy to refer them to others.

As someone who has not had much luck in finding a good plumber in the past, I decided to give DPS a go. From the initial phone call, service was terrific. My plumber, George, arrived on time, was polite, patient & completed the job really well. Would recommend them & use them again, if needed. Pricing was reasonable too.

Fantastic Service. I cannot recommend Brian and the team highly enough. I had a new HWS installed – they turned up exactly when they said they would, did a great job installing, tidied up perfectly afterwards, were fantastic value (much cheaper than the big so-called specialist companies), and to cap it off they are really nice honest people to deal with.

Excellent work by Bryan and George to fix loose piping work that runs to the sewer pit including concrete patch which was left in a hopeless condition by tradies before. I would like to thank Brian, Janet and George for their geat service and advice. I had a new cooktop and general plumbing work done. They rang ahead, turned up on time, supplied compliance certificates promptly and I can thouroughly recommend them as a reliable and trustworthy family run company.

We made initial contact via Doherty’s web site. Without delay the office called and made an appointment. They explained their fees in detail and in the end the charge was exactly in line with what was explained during that initial call. We were called the day before to confirm and Brian rang the next morning to apologise that they were delayed. Delays are inevitable with this kind of work and we appreciated being informed.Brian and his apprentice got to work and found approximately where our storm water blockage was located. They then used a detector to find the exact location and started digging. It turned out that the storm water pipe terminated into screenings at the rear of the property and after many years this was clogged with debris that had washed down from the guttering.They couldn’t repair it on the day due to the commitment of other jobs but were back in a week and fitted a trap. It is a very neat job and whilst the surrounding lawn took a bit of a beating they were as careful as possible and I’m sure that it will bounce back in the Spring.We’ve had a lot of rain over the past few days and I am pleased to report that the flooding that we had been experiencing on the rear courtyard is no longer a problem. We now have a trap that that can be kept clear so that the problem should not recur.I can highly recommend Brian and the team for a high standard of workmanship.
