Doherty Plumbing Solutions has been proudly working with Easy Building Green (EBG) for several years. EBG specialises in the design and construction of custom homes and renovation, aiming to maximise the environmental credentials of every project they undertake.
We recently assisted their team at a Murumbeena property, completing an extensive plumbing overhaul.
To set up the groundwork for a water recycling unit, a pressure pump with mains water backup was supplied. We also connected the roof catchment to a storage tank and installed a spouting and downpipe provision.
The connections were laid out to facilitate the use of recycled water in toilet cisterns and a garden tap.
All the new plumbing fixtures were successfully water-tested, and a Compliance Certificate was issued.
Plumbing solutions Mount Waverley
Our Master Plumber Brian was on hand to help a customer at Mount Waverley regarding a new rainwater collection tank.
Following a discussion with the customer, providing advice, it was determined that a 4000-litre tank model will be supplied and installed at the property.
Brian prepared the ground area by putting in crushed rock and timber boxing. This made for a solid foundation and levelled base for the rainwater tank. Two downpipe outlets were fixed into the tank for catchment, and an overflow connection was directed to the existing stormwater drain point.
A Maxijet pump was also fitted and a garden tap was installed in the front garden. Brian cleaned up the rubble and dirt on completion of the job.
We then provided the customer with a Certificate of Compliance.
